Since May of 2019, Ms. Watlerschied has been pursuing excellence in preventative health and comprehensive care at Aspen Medical Care. A family medicine physician assistant, she has a passion for providing individualized, evidence based care plans for each of her patients. Ms. Waltershied cares deeply about her patients, and strives to help each one fulfill their potential.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with family/friends, traveling, learning new things and nordic skiing.
Tracie Walterscheid, PA-C is one of our certified physician assistants performing outpatient care in our Aspen and Basalt medical offices. As your PA-C she can order and interpret lab tests and if needed make referrals for patients to see specialists as needed. Tracie have prescriptive authority for medications and can also rder physical therapy and home health services for their patients. When applicable she can order imaging studies such as mammograms, MRI’s, X-Rays, DEXA scans, CT scans, PET scans, etc.
As a provider of outpatient care Tracie cares about all aspects of a patient’s health and strives to provide them with the highest level of care. She is proud to be part of a team of well-integrated multi-specialists collaborating with each other to provide the best possible care for each patient.
